Tuition Fees

Below is an abridged version of the tuition and fees scales, complete with listed amounts.

For more detailed information, please refer to the comprehensive description of financial matters provided here.

Non-Refundable Fees

1. Application Fee: This fee applies to all applicants and must be paid at the time of submitting the Application Form for processing and to initiate the applicant screening process.

Payment method

  • Bank Transfer: Payable into the school’s bank account (see bank account information).
  • Online Payment via Credit Card: complete the Inquiry Form, and our admission office will contact you to process your payment.
  • In Person: Payable at the Main Office

2. Registration Fee: This fee applies to all new students who have been accepted (or tentatively accepted), as well as those reapplying for entry after being absent for more than one year. The Registration Fee must be paid within 5 working days of acceptance for residents in Japan and within 10 working days for those residing abroad.

3. Reservation Fee: This fee applies to all re-enrolling and uncertain-to-return students to secure a place for your child(ren) in the upcoming school year. If a family decides to withdraw from the school, the Reservation Fee is not applicable. However, if the Reservation Fee is paid and the online re-enrollment process is fully completed, the Reservation Fee will be credited toward tuition fees.

School Fees

  1. Tuition Fee: The annual tuition fee per child can be paid in two installments. The first payment is due by the end of May, and the second by the end of November.
  2. Annual Campus Development and Maintenance Fund: This fee per child supports the ongoing development and maintenance of the school’s facilities.
  3. Annual PSG Dues: This fee per family helps fund the activities and events organized by the Parent Support Group.
  4. Student Council Fees: This fee per child in Gr 6 and above supports the activities and initiatives led by the Student Councils.

Additional costs for textbooks, external examinations (e.g., IB, IGCSE, PSAT), and school medical examinations are covered by the tuition fees.

Late enrollment: For students entering during the middle of a semester, the annual tuition fee may be prorated based on academic quarters. The full amount charged per quarter must be paid for attendance during any portion of the quarter.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for withdrawals during the half-year payment periods (August to December and January to June).

Corporate Contribution Plan: We offer a contribution plan for companies whose employees are sending their children to our school, where donations can be made within a fiscally advantageous plan for the families and the company.  For more information, please contact us at ccp@stmaur.ac.jp
