About the instructor:
Sayuri has over 10 years of experience teaching belly dance in both Canada and Japan. Her passion for this art form stems from the magic it has brought to her life and her students. Sayuri believes that women today are often expected to wear many different masks and play various roles—assertive in their careers, nurturing as mothers, and supportive as partners. Finding time where women can simply be themselves can be challenging. Belly dance gives women the freedom to express their true selves
