On Friday January 31st, 24 students from Yokohama Science Frontier High School (YSFHS) joined the combined Grade 7 classes from Saint Maur in a collaborative activity to build a catapult.

Teams competed to build the most accurate catapult from a variety of resources (paper cups, rubber bands, straws, string etc.) Prizes were awarded for accuracy, design and good team spirit. Saint Maur students had an enjoyable time hosting the YSFHS visitors. As well as working hard on their projects, they were able to relax together over lunch and while playing sports in the gym at recess. We look forward to many more fruitful collaborations with YSFHS in the future.
