French Scientists Visit the Chemistry Lab (Bilingual Version)

The Saint Maur Girls Varsity Volleyball Team travelled to ASIJ over a two day period on the 16th and 17th of October to compete in the annual Yujo Tournament.
The Saint Maur International School high school drama club presents a new adaptation of Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express" Wednesday 11 Nov to Friday 13 Nov at 5 pm, Saturday 14 November at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. with alternating casts.

The High School Drama Club had its first group rehearsal for this brand new adaptation of "Murder on the Orient Express" on Saturday. In adherence with COVID safety precautions, a new "dressing room" was created in the Fine Arts Centre foyer so that students could apply makeup and hair design with greater physical distancing and increased ventilation.
Last Wednesday, September 2, Saint Maur's Music Department held its first ever instrument fair. Students enrolled on the Grade 5-8 band program were able to compare and purchase models of shiny new wind and brass instruments brought in from one of Tokyo's leading music stores. Not only was this a great occasion for new families to visit the Music department, some of the instrumental teachers were also there in attendance, giving tips on instrument maintenance and instrumental lessons.
August 31, 2020 commemorates the birth of Dr. Maria Montessori 150 years ago. Her love of children, the field of medicine and extensive research into her educational approach, has led to the Montessori Method being used for 110 years by teachers around the world.
On Monday, August 17, Saint Maur International School reopened its campus to all new and returning staff for training days and to prepare for the new academic year. This day marked the first day back on campus since February 28 for all staff and it was wonderful to feel the energetic atmosphere again on site while learning, sharing, preparing and discussing ideas for the new school year ahead. On Friday, 21 August, all new families along with returning Montessori and Elementary School families were welcomed on campus for an Orientation Day and the school has officially commenced the new academic year today Monday, August 24.
The last few months were a challenge for everyone and our PSG was no exception. Usually towards the end of the school year, we organize a teachers and staff luncheon to show our appreciation for all their hard work. We were also very busy organizing the decor and all the bake sales for every Spring Concert, the Bingo Bash for Kids and the traditional monthly coffee mornings.
THEY GRADUATED! After much uncertainty and a very difficult few months for the world and our community, the class of 2020 officially graduated on the 6th of June, in a moving collection of pre-recorded video clips and live moments, such as the all-important Tassel Ceremony!
Elementary students are regularly invited to the Science Centre to experience Science classes taught in specialist laboratories by the Secondary Science teachers.
On Saturday, May 23rd, five members of Grade 10 represented the school at the inaugural IAC Asian Division Online Bee Tournaments. These students had already represented the school with distinction back in February at the Tokyo edition.
