Another eventful KPASS Math Field Day
On March 5, 2025, twenty nine students from Middle School and High School attended the annual KPASS Math Field Day competition at The National Olympics Memorial Youth Center near Yoyogi Park in Tokyo.
Over 300 students from twelve different international schools participated. The first event of the day was the individual contest paper where students competed to answer as many questions correctly as possible within one hour. Saint Maur was represented very well as we had eleven students who placed in the top 10 for their respective grade.
Then, students worked together in teams to construct a crane from spaghetti sticks that could hold a ping-pong ball the highest off the ground. Another event involved participants racing to grab problems and solve them together as quickly as possible. All in all, it was a fantastic day of learning, collaboration, and competition. A big congratulations to our team of Saint Maur Mathematicians!
