Saint Maur Middle School Students Visit Futaba School for the Day
Saint Maur’s Middle School Student Council students had the opportunity to visit Yokohama's Futaba School for a day. They discussed the differences and similarities between their schools Futaba and Saint Maur; had a great experience, and a lot of fun. The seven participating students hope this can be an annual event!
Day day started with math class and students studied algebra and factorization. They learned math tips and tricks about multiplication.
The second period, English class, was interactive and engaging. The students took part in tests, dictation and games!
In P.E. class, students all participated in volleyball and basketball with some unique but fun warm up exercises.
In Japanese class, the students participated in a challenging kanji test and analyzed a poem about calling things in life beautiful.
During lunch, students ate in the classroom for a change, after they bought a delicious meal from the school.
Mrs. Shinozaki, who works at Futaba School and kindly facilitated this exchange, also noted that this was the first time in Futaba history to have a boy in class!
